October in Israel is a busy month. Whilst the summer, and most of the holiday season is behind us, many events take advantage of the milder weather including music festivals and concerts across the country. One thing is clear, October 2015 in Israel will be a fun-packed month!

October 2015 Sukkot Events in Israel

With the sun setting over the Summer, there are loads of events in Israel in October making the most of the last summer heat

Until October 5 – Sukkot in Israel. A week long festival with hundreds of interesting events taking place across Israel. Highlights including Sukkot events in JerusalemSukkot events in Tel Aviv, Sukkot events in Haifa and the Galilee, and Sukkot events in the Negev. Some highlighted events are below with only the October dates included.

October 1-2 – Tamar Festival. Israeli music festival at the Dead Sea.

October 1-3 – Fresh Paint, Tel Aviv. The annual art fair presents work from contemporary galleries and independent artists.

October 1-5 – Haifa International Film Festival. This was the first film festival in Israel and has become an annual event with more than 280 film screenings.

October 2 – Tel Aviv Crosstown Bike Ride. The main streets are closed off for this annual family-friendly bike ride through the city.

Other October 2015 Events in Israel

October 3 – Bon Jovi in Tel Aviv. One of the greatest rock bands of all time is coming for its debut concert in Israel.

October 8 until December – Walk About Love. This annual walking festival creates a special and unique trek across Israel.

October 8 – Balkan Beat Box in Tel Aviv. A concert featuring Balkan Beat Box.

October 10 – Matisyahu in Jerusalem. The reggae and rap artist returns to Israel for a performance at the Sulton’s Pool.

October 15 until November – Transforms Fashion Series. Jaffa Port Gallery will be hosting fashion exhibitions that include items for sale.

October 15-17 – IndieNegev. One of Israel’s top festivals for independent music, InDNegev will bring over 50 musicians and 5,000 fans to the Northern Negev.

October 16-17 – Gypsy Philharmonic Orchestra in Tel Aviv. The more than 70 musicians and virtuosos in the orchestra from Budapest will be giving two performances in Israel.

October 22-24 – Passage to Bollywood in Tel Aviv. The colorful, theatrical performance takes the audience on a cultural tour of India.

October 28 – Night Run Tel Aviv. The annual nighttime 10k run through the streets of Tel Aviv returns.
