Orient Express Station

Orient Express Station

For my last trip I was in Turkey, 10 days around the coutry. It was so nice to visit the old cities and the beautiful mediterranean sea views that make of this country in the middle of two cultures, west and east, a significant geostrategic importance.
My first stop was in Instambul, was a pity, I just stayed there one day, there is a lot to visit, why don’t visit the Grand Bazaar,it is one of the largest covered markets in the world, or the Orient Express Station, which connected Istanbul with Vienna.
After Istambul, i took bus to travel in turkey. Turkish buses are fast, convienient, cheap and clean.
I was in Cappadocia for my first fly with the aerostatic ballon on the “fairy chimneys”, it is an unique moon-like landscape, underground cities, cave churches and houses carved in the rocks.

Pamukkale

Pamukkale

Third stop Pamukkale for “the Cotton Castle”, where I walked in shallow pools filled with thermal waters.
Antalya, was my fourth station, the fastest growing city, centre of a lot beach resorts. A leap to Efes, famous for his archeological excavations, Hellenistic and Roman period.
What I say it was a lovely and memorables moment, make a dream for an other trip in Turkey.
